Tuition is due on Monday!
Grammar
- Study your grammar cards!
- PLEASE bring these to class every week... and don't lose them!
- Click here to play a game where you can blast the action verbs!
- Remember, action verbs are only one of the four types of verbs! We learned about state of being verbs in class. Study the list (don't forget to clap when you get to a dot on the card!)
- Read through the poem and try to memorize it! :-)
Science
- Find examples of a gas, a liquid, and a solid. If possible, bring them in! (You can also write them down or draw a picture if needed.)
- Take your time and do your best!
- Complete pages 27-30 this week. Work on bumping the lines where you should!
- Please bring these to class with you.
Journal-
- Look at the picture above. Come up with any story you'd like that uses this character!
- Bring these to class!
History-
- In class, we learned about the importance of the buffalo to Native Americans. At home, complete the buffalo activity!
- Take a piece of construction paper (any color). Fold it in half (hamburger style, not hot dog style!) Hold it so it opens up and down, not side to side.
- On the front, cut out, color, and glue the picture of the buffalo.
- Lift the cover. On the top section, glue down the word box.
- Cut out the chart on the parts of the buffalo that the Native Americans used.
- Glue the chart to the bottom section of your page.
- Now, glue each of the squares onto the chart to show what parts of the buffalo were used to make each Native American item.
