For December 4th

Please bring your red folder to class each week!  Thanks!
The kids will have a Christmas party during our lunch time on December 11th! We will have a cheese pizza and a pepperoni pizza.  Feel free to bring in sides and treats to share!

Grammar
  • Study your grammar cards!
  • PLEASE bring these to class every week... and don't lose them!
  • Try this game.  You'll need to decide whether a word in the sentence is an adverb or an adjective.  Just remember, adjectives describe nouns or pronouns and adverbs describe verbs.  (Adverbs can also describe adjectives and other adverbs, but we're not worries about those right now!)

    Poetry
    • Click at the link at the top of the page to begin studying our new poem!  (It's a short one!)

    Science
    • Watch the following video.
    • Then, either draw pictures or write about how a seed grows.  Put this in your red folder to bring to class!

    Handwriting
    • Complete pages 39-41 by Monday. (NOT all on the same day!)
    • Take it slow and do your best!  Look back at any notes I've made to see how to improve!

    Journal-
    • Be sure that you studied adjectives and adverbs.
    • Now, write ANY story that you'd like.  It can be a made-up story (fiction) or a real story (non-fiction).  Just be sure to add adjectives and adverbs to make it very descriptive!
