Grammar
    • Study your grammar cards!
    • We talked about INTERJECTIONS in class.  Interjections are words that express sudden or strong feeling, such as "Wow!" or "Ouch!"

Poetry - You should be able to recite Mr. Nobody in class this week!

        Science
        • Show off your Space Book! We have worked on this unit for a few weeks now, and you have learned so much! Talk about it and review!
        • (Your science assignment will be listed in this week's journal assignment!)

            Handwriting
            • I kept your handwriting books in class.  I will be going through and pinpointing things that need improvement, student by student.  We'll be working on personalized lessons from now through the end of the year.  This week's handwriting assignment is combined with your journal assignment.

              History-
              • These videos are kind of silly, but they'll be a good review!
Print and complete this sheet for Monday!  (Parents, the writing prompt on p.3 is OPTIONAL.)

              Journal-
              • We talked about NARRATIVE writing and INFORMATIVE writing in class.  We have been using the "Hamburger" method to write informative paragraphs.  This week, I'd like you to go through your space book to remind you of all the things you learned about our solar system.  Use this to help you write an informative paragraph (or more than one if you'd like) to show what you've learned!
                • Come up with a topic sentence about the solar system.
                • Write supporting details to support your topic sentence.
                • Finish it up with a conclusion sentence.
                • If you have more topics that you would like to talk about, you can add another paragraph about a different main idea.
                • This counts are handwriting practice for this week!  Make it great!
