Assignments due 10/5 & 10/6

Announcements-

Tuition is due next week!

If you're sending in a check, just have your child drop it in the metal box beside the door on their way in.  Thanks!

If anyone would like goat's milk soap, just text/email your order, and I'll have it ready for you at pickup!  Click here for info.

If you'd like to sign up your child for the Bucket Beats class, here's the link!  The class begins 10/5 & 10/6, and pickup time is 3:00.  Please sign up as soon as you can, so Mr. Nate can know how many buckets/sticks are needed.  Thanks!

Fall Party will be held on the last week of October.  Students will celebrate (in costume if they'd like) during their normal class time.

Farm Fusion Story-
  • Thank you SO much for sharing your Farm Fusion stories with the class!  I think the animals on the farm feel famous when they get to be in your stories!
  • Here are some ideas to help inspire you this week:
    • We talked a lot about snakes and how they eat eggs.  See if you can use this in a story!
    • We held some chicks and guinea keets in class.  Make them characters in your story!
    • The goats broke out of the fence this week... That could be a GREAT story starter!  😀

Handwriting-
  • PRINT-  Parents, we are working hard on remembering to start letters at the top.  Please keep an eye out and make corrections as needed!
    • When making letters r, b, h, m, and n, practice starting at the top and "bouncing" off the "floor".  ;-)
    • When writing your Farm Fusion story, practice making sure that your letters fill in the space.  We talked about how sometimes we make letters too short to ride the rides at Six Flags. LOL!  Sometimes, we also make our letters jumping off of the "floor".  If you'd like, you can use the farm fusion story to help practice forming your letters.
  • CURSIVE- practice creating words using the following letters:
    • t, c, h, a, g, d

Farm Fusion (optional)

  •  We LOVED hearing your stories!!  This week, here are a few ideas:
    • Can you believe that those bradford pear spikes can pop a tractor tire?!  Can you think of a story that talks about those spikes?
    • The weather is getting cooler.  Write a story about fall on the farm!
    • Or... any story of your choice!  We love to hear them!
    • (Parents- our Farm Fusion stories are to help foster a love of writing.  There is ZERO pressure on these... some kids write their own, some get a lot of help, and some dictate to their parents to read in class, and some I read for them!  They love it, and it helps them learn a love of writing!

  • "Hide & Seek Sea"

    • Click on this link to find a picture.  There are 22 animals in the picture. You can find a list of those animals below the Hide & Seek Sea picture. Can you find them all?
